Do we have to replace our cameras?
No. XCAN AI Box works with standard ONVIF/RTSP IP cameras and with older analog cameras through an encoder. In most projects over 80% of the existing cameras can be reused.
What happens if the network goes down?
All analysis runs on the edge box, so detection, alarms and recording continue offline. Events are stored locally and synchronised to the platform once connectivity returns.
